hilghly unrealistic. wildly fanciful.

I’m sorry. I know you’re super excited for recruitment, or whatever. But we’ve already had our last meeting. We’ve transitioned seniors. We should be done for the year. We should not be having a recruitment workshop tonight. It’s right before finals. People have papers to write, presentations to finish, and exams to study for. This is not the time to spend an hour and a half, late at night, focusing on something that isn’t even gonna happen until September. This is ridiculous.

What what, what, what?

…life today, especially at work.

I don’t care that you’re freshmen.

You signed up to be on crew. That means you need to do everything that needs to be done. You shouldn’t make comments about something not being on your original list of tasks. You also need to clean up after costume changes. You can’t just leave clothes in the lobby. We’re not here to watch the show or play on our phones. It’s a good way to pass time, but you still have to do the work.

Can you send the head of Standards to Standards?

Seriously, what do you do when the head of the Standards Committee is being obnoxious/power hungry/ruining everyone’s fun/making it a chore to go to events, when it used to be fun…?

Something else I miss about my old dorm…

It was right on the side of campus where I needed to be. Two of the buildings were right next door. And the other one I needed was right across a parking lot. Now I’m on the complete other side of campus so it takes me an extra 3-5 minutes to get anywhere. It’s a little annoying… but I do like my new room better.

Also, Joe was right across the floor from me. Now he’s diagonally across a courtyard from me. It’s and extra minute or two to walk to. And it was raining yesterday, so I had to run over there. …But he has air conditioning, and I can get away from my awkward roommate, plus I like him and actually want to see him sometimes, so I probably be over there a lot.

Okay. Time for bed. Got an 8am class tomorrow so I need my sleep.

I know I didn’t post my “Day 1 of College” today. I’ll get to it tomorrow, hopefully. I don’t wanna fail before I even start.
